Eric Harder is responsible for corporate finance and treasury operations. Previously, Eric was the managing director of United’s corporate finance department, responsible for all capital raising activities, capital structure, and balance sheet management initiatives.
He spearheaded the company’s fundraising efforts during COVID-19, securing ~$38B of capital. Eric also represents United on the investment committees for the company’s retirement plans. Eric has been with the company since 2004 when he joined as a senior analyst for Continental Airlines.
Eric graduated with Honors with a BBA in Finance from the University of Texas at Austin and has an MBA from the Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University where he was a Jones Scholar. He is married with two children and resides outside Chicago, IL.
