Ray Steen is the Vice President of Human Resources for Bath Iron Works. Ray oversees Employee Relations, Benefits, Labor Relations, Training and Security.
Ray joined General Dynamics Bath Iron Works as Vice President, Human Resources in July 2022, coming from General Dynamics Ordinance and Tactical Systems (OTS), where he was Senior Director, Human Resources for the Armaments and Energetics line of business. Ray has been a part of General Dynamics since joining OTS in 2006.
With more than 30 years of dedicated service in General Dynamics and OSRAM Sylvania, Ray has a passion for continuous improvement, team building and organizational development in manufacturing organizations.
Along with his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and philosophy from the University of Vermont, Ray holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Southern New Hampshire University.
Ray moved to Maine from Hinesburg, Vermont. He and his wife Gina Steen are the proud parents of three children.
